This Privacy Policy describes how SHR UG (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application The Launch App (the “App”).

  • Payment Information: When you make a purchase within the App, payment processing is handled by RevenueCat. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. RevenueCat collects necessary payment information, which may include your payment method details, billing address, and transaction history.   • User Progress Data: We store information related to your progress within the App, such as completed lessons, achievements, and other in-app activities. This data is stored using Firebase.
  • Communications: If you contact us directly (e.g., for support), we may collect the information you provide in your communication, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.

b. Information We Collect Automatically:

  • Usage Information: We may collect information about how you access and use the App, including your interactions with content, features used, and the time and duration of your activities.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Analytics Information: While we do not use traditional third-party analytics (like Google Analytics directly within the App), Firebase may collect some analytics data by default related to app usage and performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

  • To Provide and Maintain the App: To operate, maintain, and improve the functionality of the App, including providing you with access to content and features.
  • To Manage Your Account: To create and manage your user account, authenticate your identity, and provide you with access to your personalized content and progress.
  • To Process Transactions: To facilitate and process in-app purchases and manage your subscriptions through RevenueCat.
  • To Store User Progress: To track and save your progress within lessons and other in-app activities, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • To Deliver Content: To serve content and data from Sanity.io, enabling you to access the educational or other materials within the App.
  • To Communicate with You: To respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, send you service-related notifications, and updates.
  • For Internal Operations: For internal purposes such as data analysis, troubleshooting, and research to improve our services and app performance.
  • To Ensure Security: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security incidents.
  • To Comply with Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with third parties in the following circumstances:

  • With Our Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions and provide services to us. These include:

    • Other providers who assist us with operations, customer support, etc., under strict data protection agreements.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

    • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App.

  • User Progress Data: Your user progress data is retained as long as your account is active to ensure continuity of your experience.
  • Payment Information: Payment transaction records are retained by RevenueCat in accordance with their privacy policy and legal requirements.
  • Other Information: Other information is retained for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.

Firebase, RevenueCat, and Sanity.io may process data in different regions. Our App may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
